EXPLORING EVERYDAY OBJECTS

I am interested in presenting ordinary everyday objects within a plaster setting, thereby drawing attention to the beauty in their lines.  By embedding a cross section - or a slice - of the object within the plaster I aim to reveal the object in linear form.

The photograph above shows a cross section of an electrical plug.  Below, clockwise is a) a clothes peg on slate, b) a ceramic egg  cup on slate, c) metal toys within a wire cage, d) sections of oyster shells within a plaster bed on a glass square, e) a section of a medicine bottle on slate.
